Currently, BluegrassNet broadcasts a wireless signal from three locations. Our primary broadcast location starts in the heart of downtown Louisville stretching to Germantown and then on to the Cherokee park area. Our antennae arrays vary in height permitting a wide area of coverage wirelessly. We have a quality line-of-site to locations throughout the east, west and south metro areas as well as accessing several narrow corridors crowded by downtown buildings. We offer, within these three locations, point to point, and point to multipoint capabilities.

We recently obtained exclusive broadcast rights to a building in Cherokee Triangle thereby smothering the previous broadcast ability of our competition at that location. At 22 stories this is our tallest broadcast location in the area and offers excellent line-of-site to locations throughout the county and southern Indiana.

A point-to-point link is established to deliver high-speed Internet access to a specific location, commonly a businesses LAN. The radios used for this purpose are carrier-grade units with directional antennae focused to direct their energy between two points at a distances that may reach several miles.

We just finished setting up wireless in the residents halls of one of our newest clients, Spalding University, on Fourth St. We are servicing that location with point-to-point wireless at more than 3mbps!
