     Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) utilizes digital signaling technology over a switched circuit providing a flexible service that can be used for digital data transfer at speeds not possible over standard analog facilities.  Consisting of 2 channels, each a separate digital phone line, ISDN permits combinations of using both lines for voice/fax, a combination of voice/fax on one and Internet access at 64kbps on the other, or both channels bonded for Internet access at 128kbps.  These service combination make ISDN a perfect fit for many small to medium sized businesses.

Definitions

*  Justified static IP addressing included at no additional cost.
*  BGN Installation and Setup includes onsite installation of ISDN modem/router and wiring at the location's Telco demarcation point.
*  Dial on Demand provides 350 channel hours of connectivity with BluegrassNet; enough for 22 8-hour business days per month.
*  Dedicated service avoids any metering of channel hours as the connection to the router is inbound from BGN.
*  Channel hour limitation may apply when used as Dial on Demand.  Most phone companies allow X amount of channel hours for outbound calls from an ISDN line; usually about 300/month.  When using both channels for 128kbps, 2 channel hours are accrued each hour.
*  Service location must have an ISDN line existing or installed by the phone company.

*  Clients may provide their own Netopia or Ascend equipment to be installed by BGN engineers.
*  The Netopia R3100UP is available at $650.00 for clients who plan to use the voice/fax portion of the ISDN line.  Otherwise, the Netopia R3100U is available at $550.00
