Description of Service: Managed Virtual Server is where a customer is allocated a private portion of a server environment with the intention of not being effected by activities of other hosting customers. You will be allocated a portion of the server resources (as outlined below) and will operate within that environment.
Application: This is the perfect hosting option for sites that do e-commerce/credit card transactions, custom scripting, heavy database use, have high-availability requirements, and other reasons that preclude the site from being on a standard shared server.

- All virtual server systems at BluegrassNet are Unix based
- Customers wishing a Windows environment will incur additional software licensing fees. Please contact your BluegrassNet representative for details.
- Customer is responsible for addressing all back-up issues. BluegrassNet makes no garantees or warranties implied or expressed that we will assume that responsibility. How it works:
Step 1: Call your Bluegrass Rep and tell them you are interested in Managed Virtual Server
Step 2: Your rep will set up a meeting or conference call with the server admin in which you will go through the set up of the server to accommodate your specific needs.
Step 3: You pay
Step 4: Server Admin sets up the box and works through initial questions and issues with the customer
Step 5: You're off to the races. Ongoing consulting will be handled on a project basis.
