Windows 95 Dialup Networking
Setup
Now
click on the 'Advanced' button located at the bottom on the 'Connection' tab
menu. You want to make sure that 'Use Error Control', 'Compress Data', 'Use
Flow Control', and "Hardware (RTS/CTS)' all have checkmarks by them. Click
the 'OK' button, click 'OK' again, and then click on 'Close'.

Back in the 'Control Panel', we now need to double-click on the 'Add/Remove
Programs' icon. Click on the 'Windows Setup' tab from the three tabs at the
top of the menu.
Double-click 'Communications'
and make sure that 'Dial-Up Networking' is checked (as shown next)

If it is already checked, then go to step 15. If it is NOT checked, then proceed
to the next step. Click the 'OK' button and follow all of the prompts (you
will most likely be asked to insert your Windows 95 CD-ROM or diskettes).
You might be asked some questions about 'Dial-Up Networking'. If so, just
answer them the best that you can. This will be configured in more detail
later.
