Windows 95 Dialup Networking
Setup
Go
back to the 'Control Panel' and double-click on the 'Network' icon. you should
have the following components in the white box: Client for Microsoft Networks,
Dial-Up Adapter, and TCP/IP. If these components are already there, then skip
down to step 19.

If they are NOT there, then proceed to the next step. Click on the 'Add' button.
Double-click on the 'Clients' icon. In the left hand box click on 'Microsoft'
and in the right hand box click on 'Client for Microsoft Networks'. Click
'OK'. Click on the 'Add' button again. Double-click on the 'Adapter' icon.
In the left hand box click on 'Microsoft' and in the right hand box click
on 'Dial-Up Adapter'. Click 'OK'. Click on the 'Add' button. Double-click
on the 'Protocol' icon. In the left hand box click on 'Microsoft' and in the
right hand box click on 'TCP/IP'. Click 'OK'. We are now done installing all
of the proper drivers for 'Dial-Up Networking'. We are now ready to configure
the network components. Still in the 'Network' menu, click on the 'Client
for Microsoft Networks' and click the 'Properties' button. Make sure that
'Logon to Windows NT domain' in NOT checked. Also, make sure that the 'Logon
and restore network connections' is checked and then click 'OK'. Back in the
network menu, click on 'Dial-up Adapter' and then click 'Properties'. On the
'Driver Type' tab make sure it is set to 'Enhanced mode (32-bit and 16-bit)
NDIS driver'. Then select the 'Bindings' tab and make sure that 'TCP/IP' has
a check beside it. Click 'OK'.
Now click on 'TCP/IP'
and click on 'Properties'. Click on the 'Bindings' tab and make sure that
'Client for Microsoft Networks' is checked.
